flood

so forgive me for not blogging yesterday and effectively today.... last night was a late church meeting, and sunny not in bed until after ten... and tonight, for the first time in her very short life, my normally complacent daughter has not been able to stay asleep. my guess is an ear infection or something similar, because it's reminiscent of sunny's inconsolable crying whenever he had one... so i'm praying for a better night the rest of the night, and not the screaming of the last two hours... and i'll take her in to the doctor in the morning if i need to. ah, the joy of infant children, who can't tell you what's wrong. and she's been sick and fussy so little, i really have nothing to go by. i guess i should have expected it sooner or later!
but the rest of the day has been good, even though we've been cooped up inside because of the weather. we set up our tent, made playdough, popped popcorn, and generally made the most of being together. too bad it had to end with my sweet daughter (and, to be honest, my sweet self!) in tears!
