on saturday morning we got up and drove about ten minutes to the houston zoo. it is a really nice, big zoo, with a large children's area complete with sprinkler park and carousel.
they were having an animatronic dinosaur exhibit while we were there. the kids loved it - except for the t-rex, which scared sailor to tears!
here are the kids crawling through a tube which runs through the pirhana tank! pretty cool.
they had several indoors exhibits, which was nice since it was VERY hot. here's sunny coming nose to nose with a sea turtle.
otters are always jon's favorite!
we all love to watch the otters play!on to day three tomorrow....
