we are trying to get our money's worth out of our season passes! so we made the trek down to san antonio today for sea world again. however, this time we were blessed by much cooler weather - cloudy and around 60 for most of the day. we dressed warmly, took our snacks, and had fun - even if we were all a bit tired from a long week. it was so much fun to see the kids' faces light up as they watched the animals. so i'm sorry if these pictures are mostly (only) of them. :)
the stuffed turtle they are both carrying around is "franklin." he actually is sunny's class turtle. sunny is "star of the week" next week (more on this later), so he got to bring franklin home this weekend. we will write about all of franklin's adventures in his journal for sunny to take back to school on tuesday. so franklin got to go to sea world! (what a lucky turtle. :)
