sunny-isms

here are some sunny-isms to brighten your day.

chick-fil-a has crazy good milkshakes, complete with whipped cream and cherry. sunny gets one every once in a while as a treat when he's been an extra-good listener while we're there. so today we got one on our way out the door. i settled him into his car seat, handed him the enormous cup, and started to back out.
"mommy?" he called from the back seat, sucking on the straw. "this is the life."

he asked to watch elmo tonight, and it was about babies. "aww," i said. "there are babies like your baby. do you play with your baby?"
"yes," he said with a smile. "i love her. i very, very gentle with her." (some of the time. ;)
(he likes to pick out her pajamas every night still. and her diaper. and my pajamas.....)
