i had a friend the other day express her frustration (on my behalf) at all of the sickness we've been struggling with this winter. i told her kindly that i try not to think that way - otherwise i just end up feeling frustrated all of the time! :)
and while i do wish our family was more healthy, on the whole we are happy (in spite of snotty noses and nebulizers), and i try to take it all in stride as part of life with three little ones in preschool (and two teachers, to boot).
plus, a friend of mine took her son to urgent care this morning for his cough, and ended up with him on oxygen in the hospital (poneumonia). so, again, i am shouted at that this is all about perspective - and that while my kids may feel "very sick" to me, there are varying scales of sickness, and i am thankful - yes, thankful - for the viruses we have - as opposed to all of the awful, awful things we have not.
happy sunday, and the start of Holy Week. :)
good night. :)

in truth that pneumonia ended up being an asthma attack. It seems that he was worse off than I originally thought. He is not an asthmatic...but it still stinks!
oooppps...that was from deanne. seems I am on robert's account...haha
i am glad it was (only) asthma - i guess, although obviously we would rather he be totally healthy. ;)
Kendra--that is a great way to look at it! :)
