library madness

so we went to leander library today with a DUFFLE BAG AND a BACKPACK full of books to return. this is what happens when you have two library cards in your family, and you max them both out (on two separate occasions. but STILL).
so one of the workers, noticing our truckloads of books, told sunny just to stack them on the reshelving cart (instead of sliding them through the little slot). it took a very very long time. i told him the same thing, as we stood there waiting for sunny to finish: "this is what happens when you max out your library card. and your husband's."
he looked at me incredulously. "you do know that's 70 books," he said finally.

uh, yeah.

i just didn't want to say the number out loud.
