thank God for a little rain. i'ts been pouring off and on for the last hour or so, and we desperately need it... so do the beautiful flowers my mom planted while she was here last weekend.
today has been a pretty rotten day. lots of elements combined to make it so, but honestly, the worst problem has been me. being pregnant is a lot like constantly PMS-ing. so i keep crying randomly about things i would normally take (or at least be able to pretend to take) in stride.
like sailor throwing up all over herself (and the carseat, and the car) 25 minutes into our 30 minute drive to school this morning. lots and lots and lots of vomit. which i tried to clean up in the 7-11 parking lot using wet wipes, the water from my water bottle, and some dry diapers.
and the fact that this is the third time she has randomly thrown up in the last 4 days, so i am immediately worried that something is desperately wrong with her (in spite of the fact that she is perfectly normal in-between these strange projectile instances).
and the doctor telling me that she has now fallen off of the bottom of the growth chart weight-wise, and i need to replace her whole milk with pedia sure and feed her ice cream every night. oh, and being her back in a month for a weight check. oh, and if she's still randomly throwing up in a week, bring her back for some tests.
and still not feeling that great, in spite of the fact that i am now approaching 15 weeks and have (re doctor's suggestion) taken myself entirely off all milk products. a little better, but not anywhere near great.
sigh. so i am off to take a nap. ignoring the dishes, laundry, and still-filthy car seat sitting in the garage waiting to be hosed off. maybe when i get up i'll have the energy to deal with all of this.
on the bright side, i offered sailor the pediasure in her sippy after lunch today, and she immediately downed the whole thing. which bodes well for her high-caloric future. ;)

I'm glad she's taking the Pediasure. She seems healthy (well, normally, not while she's having random vomiting--ick!!), and I bet she's fine. I'm glad your doctor is being proactive, of course. I just think she has her mama's and daddy's small frame!
