oh, no! was it really October first when i last published? my mom has been here, but still, that's not much of an excuse.
well, sunny has been pushing his limits in many ways recently. one of the things he's been doing is throwing objects at people. for instance, when he finishes his sippy cup, he'll throw it at me instead of handing it to me. or if i ask him to give me a book, he'll throw it across the room rather than gently placing it in my lap.
so we have all kinds of consequences for this, the least of which is to "try again."
"sunny, that's not acceptable. books are not for throwing. please try again." and he (in an ideal world), calmly picks up the book and hands it to me.
so the other night i was leaving him in bed, and i tossed his blue bear blanket (aka "boo-boo") into his hands for him to snuggle with. Two minutes later he called me back.
"mommy, that wasn't nice to throw my boo-boo at me. boo-boo's aren't for throwing.
could you try again, please?"
