silver can

push her little scoot-scoot bike (no pedals) all along the sidewalk to the top of our little hill... then turn around and glide to the bottom.

play tag with her sibs in the backyard.

say "please" when i tell her to "ask nicely" - then grab the toy anyway!

fall asleep by herself in her big girl bed. in fact, most nights she pushes me out: "bye, mama!"

climb to the very top of the sofa in the kitchen - then slide down to the bottom, laughing all the way.

dance naked in the wading pools in our backyard. ("off! off!" she calls, tugging at her clothes.)

read books to herself - any time, any where.

throw the biggest screaming tantrums when things don't go her way, and

give the absolute best hugs.
