activities so far

today we went to the pima air and space museum. sunny was in absolute heaven - even though it was 40 degrees, raining hard, and the hangers were quite cold too. there were all kinds of planes and space craft - some of which you could even climb inside! even sailor walked around pointing to everything: "i pane! i pane!" (which is sailor for airplane. :)






last night we went to "zoo lights." the reid park zoo is open a few nights during december, and they hang christmas lights everwhere and have cookies and santa... you can even see the few animals still awake (probably because of all of the lights and people.) (this included two very curious elephants, a porcupine, and some large fish.) so we met my aunt, cousin, and her husband and son (who is just nine months younger than sunny) there for a walk through the lights. this was also a big hit with both children (and with jon and i. especially because it was in the balmy 60's with no wind. :) (and we got to eat at in-n-out beforehand. ahhh, in-n-out.)

we've also made christmas cookies.
and just hung out and played.
everyone is happy and (mostly) healthy. i still can't believe tomorrow is christmas eve! the time is truly flying by.... but there are still a few more days of arizona adventure left! bring it on! :)
