it has been a rough week.

today, i am thankful for:

- a relatively healthy husband after a very short but scary stay in the hospital yesterday

- sailor saying, " i played with kira and jesus at school today."

- silver grace's huge belly laughs

- time for yummy yummy lunch and good conversation at panera today (thanks, les)

- my friend giving me a sweet gift out of the blue (thanks, kerry)

- my sister calling and sending me texts to cheer me up

- jon knowing when to tell me: "just lie down and take a nap."

- the beautiful flowers mom sent to my doorstep :)

- an easier week up ahead (one can only hope, right?)

thank you, God, for these and all of the other many blessings you give in the midst of challenges and chaos. thank you for teaching me to be grateful.
