coach jon

coach jon had his first time to coach ten five-year-olds in ymca soccer tonight. how absolutely awful, to have to coach ten crazy kindergarteners - with their parents watching avidly from the sidelines!! he did pretty well overall, in spite of a girl who threw an utter tantrum on the ground when someone (legally) stole the ball from her, and a boy who got really angry when he didn't get a turn and ran off the field. it's quite a motley crew, and i'm wondering if jon regrets his spilt-second decision to be the coach... but it's too late now! and sunny is having the time of his life.

now if he could just remember not to pick up the ball with his hands....
