meet rabbity

first it was going to be a hamster for sunny's birthday, like his friend maria.
then a guinea pig. then two.
but when we found a great, inexpensive used cage on craigslist, it had a link at the bottom: "check out our sweet, hand-raised baby bunnies, ready for new homes!"
so when we went to get the cage, we also took home a nine week old silvery gray bunny sunny promptly named "rabbity rabbit."
rabbity was raised in a small animal petting zoo (a sweet young couple takes all kinds of small animals around to schools and parties and such). she is curious but gentle, never biting or scratching. today she lay down next to the piano and let silver maul and "kiss" (open-mouthed, anyone?) her all over.
so, welcome to the family, rabbity! and try not to poop on the carpet!
