we are still here! of course after the first week of school, we all got miserable colds - all of us but sunny and me, of course - silver bravely dealt with her first stuffy nose... keeping me up frequently at night and trying not to fuss during the day.
jon actually missed one-and-a-half days of work because of it - almost unheard of for him!
so we are thankful that everyone seems to be on the mend, including sailor, who is now on antibiotics for an ear infection. i was astounded and thankful that she was able to tell me why she was up in the middle of the night: "ear HURT!"
plus we have had out-of-town guests, and more on the way.
so things are busy, and i am tired. i just wanted to let you know that we are still truckin' along - snot and all. :)

Not fun. At least you all had it at the same time though... we would pass it around in circles in our little family, which meant some people usually had it more than once. I am not looking forward to the sick season that's ahead...
