back by popular demand

i have bowed to the will of the masses and resumed posting here. we have been so busy this last month.... ok, these last two months... mostly travelling and childcaring and just living our lives each day... that i decided to give myself a break from blogging. also, i wanted to revamp my template (see flags, etc), and give some thought to whether or not i wanted to continue blogging at all.

this is my fifth year of posting, after all, and i felt that i was running out of steam.

and if i continued, how transparent could i be in my posts? we have had so many things happen over this past year, many of them private and personal...
i don't like just writing about the kids' daily lives, although that is wonderful in its own sweet way. but i also need to be able to write about my life, too, and the things i am thinking and growing and learning. if i can't be myself here, my desire to be here will fade.

but here i am, celebrating and giving thanks, and writing again. the writing is good, i think, and being here is good, too. for now, for this season, i pick up my pen (ok, ok, figurative pen) again.

see my happy, happy babies on the highlight of this trip: two days at disneyland. the girls were in love with the princesses all, and sunny was in love with roller coasters.
that's my boy.

we also fell in love with eeyore. who doesn't love eeyore?? i can so relate...

anyway, welcome back to me. and to you, if you're still there. i've missed you, too.
