tomorrow jon and sunny leave for their second annual father-son getaway: the concordia science olympiad competition in galveston. jon helps coach this academic team, and starting last year he takes sunny with him when they drive the big white bus down to the coast to compete. sunny gets to sit in the front seat of the bus, spend the night in a hotel, run on the beach, and get loved on by lots and lots of students. (thanks, guys. :) he is SO excited to go again this year.
and i am excited to have a couple of days "just girls." :) when they get older maybe we'll go to a spa or something.
this time i'm thinking sailor and i may go to chick-fil-a for some quality bonding. :)
